Chef and proprietor Nicholas Johnson, and his accomplished gourmet trained team,
utilize only the freshest local, seasonal and organic ingredients coupled with a
French flair to present the memorable meals.
Chef Nick has over 38 years of experience in the culinary arts and has been an innovator
in the pairing of wines and food since 1980. Chef Nick calls upon years of training
in some of the great restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area, including Le Vivior
and Casa Madrona in Sausalito, St. Francis Hotel with Victor DeLong in San Francisco,
The Tides in Bodega Bay, and the Mt. View Hotel in Calistoga. His foundation in
classical European cuisine has garnished rave reviews in Bon Appetit, Gourmet, and
Better Homes & Gardens.
Nick has prepared meals for UC Davis DIVO, Danielle Steel, Robb Report, Napa Valley
Auction, Francis Ford Coppola, Mike Grgich, American Cancer Society, and Michael
Johnson to name a few. His passion for food is evident by the pure joy he brings
to people at tables across the Napa and Sonoma Valleys.
